Okay, so I got this idea in my head to remake that Yves Saint Laurent YSL LE CARRé SATCHEL BAG. Yeah, the one they say is hot stuff for Spring. Now, I ain’t no fashion guru, but this bag, it just looked so cool, you know? Like something you could carry around, and it wouldn’t fall apart on you.
First thing I did was look it up, this YSL bag. Found out it’s made by some fancy French dude, Yves Saint Laurent, or something like that. They call it “Saint Laurent” now, but it’s the same thing, they said. Anyway, this bag, it’s called the “LE CARRé SATCHEL,” and it’s supposed to be all high-class and stuff.
Getting Started
- So, I started sketching. Just getting the shape right, the size, how it all comes together. It’s a boxy thing, with a flap and this shiny gold lock.
- Then, I had to figure out what to make it out of. This original one, it’s probably some fancy leather. I just went with what I had, some sturdy material that felt right.
Putting It Together
- Cut out the pieces, sew them up, piece by piece. It wasn’t easy, I tell ya. Had to make sure everything lined up just right, or the whole thing would look wonky.
- The shiny bits, the “hardware,” that was tricky. The original’s got this brass flip lock with “Saint Laurent” written on it. I just found something similar, gold-colored, that looked good enough.
The Final Touches
- Attached the strap, made sure it was strong enough to hold whatever you’d put in the bag.
- Gave it a once-over, checking for any loose threads or anything that didn’t look right.
And there you have it, my very own “LE CARRé SATCHEL.” It might not be the real deal, but it’s mine, and I made it. It’s not just a bag; it’s like, a symbol, you know? Shows you can do anything if you put your mind to it. I call this bag “YSL Bag remake version”, and it was made by my very own hands. I’m so proud of this.
Maybe it’s not perfect, but hey, it’s hand-made. And it’s got character, right? That’s what counts. You can take this bag around, it can make you feel like a real fashionista. It’s great, and I am so happy with the result, this is what matters to me.
