Hey, you all! Today I wanna talk about that fancy watch, that Rolex Submariner, the green one. Everybody talk about it these days. They call it “Starbucks”. I don’t know why, I don’t drink that fancy coffee. Too expensive! But this watch, oh boy, it’s somethin’ else.
You see it on the TV, you see it in them glossy papers. Everybody wants one. But that price! Whew! Makes my head spin. It’s more expensive than the black one. It’s crazy! I hear it’s like ten thousand dollars, maybe more. More than my old truck! Ten thousand! Can you believe it?
So, this green Rolex Submariner, it’s a big deal. Real or fake, people still want it. And you know what? There are lots of fakes out there. Lots of them. They call ’em high imitation. You gotta be careful. But a good fake, a really good one… well, it looks just like the real thing. Almost.
I seen ’em online. So many shops sellin’ ’em. They say “official flagship store” but who knows? You can find a Submariner watch for cheap. But is it the real deal? Probably not. But if it looks good, and it keeps time… who cares? Right?
Now, I ain’t sayin’ you should go buy a fake. No, no. But I’m just sayin’… they’re out there. And they look good. Some people, they don’t care if it’s real. They just want that look. That green bezel. They call it Cerachrom. Sounds like a space rock. It’s shiny and pretty. I’ll give ’em that.

The real one, that Rolex Submariner green, it’s a nice watch. I won’t lie. If I had the money… maybe I’d get one. But I don’t. So, I just look at the pictures. And I think about that neighbor lady, with her fancy watch. And I wonder… is it real? Does she know? Does she care?

You know, back in my day, we didn’t have these fancy watches. We had a clock on the wall. And the sun in the sky. That’s how we told time. And it worked just fine. Didn’t cost ten thousand dollars either!
These young folks today, they like their fancy things. They like to show off. That’s alright, I guess. Everyone’s different. But me, I’m happy with my old watch. It was my husband’s. It might not be a Rolex, but it’s special to me.
So, there you have it. That’s what I think about that Rolex Submariner green, that “Starbucks” watch. It’s a pretty thing. Real or fake, it’s somethin’ to talk about. But don’t go spendin’ all your money on it. There are other things in life, you know? Like family. And friends. And a good, strong cup of coffee. Even if it ain’t that fancy Starbucks kind.
Just remember what I said. Be careful out there. Don’t get fooled by those shiny websites. And don’t believe everything you see. Especially when it comes to those high imitation Rolex Submariner watches. They might look real, but they ain’t. And that’s all I gotta say about that.
